This blog is so lucky to have such a supportive and engaging audience, and I have loved getting to know you over the past year, as well as sharing my blog with you. The bundle is pulled together from some of my very favourite brands, and I know you’ll love the prizes just as much as I do. I love love LOVE to hype about brands and products that genuinely make me happy, you’ll know that I selectively work and blog about those items that really make me excited about country fashion, and why I fell in love with ‘fashion’ and what I do, in the first place.
So let’s have a look at what is included in The Big Birthday Giveaway:

Fairfax & Favor

It doesn’t take any explaining that I am obsessed with this brand. I have adored them for years- and I have quite the collection, which sees endless use. I purchased my first pair of boots whilst at University, and it seemed a huge investment at the time, but that very pair of boots is still going strong. If you haven’t read the story of how Fairfax & Favor started, I urge you to do so. You can find the story of Fairfax & Favor here.

The Fairfax & Favor Prize: The Winchester Navy Leather Travel Wallet.
This prize is spectacular, wow! I haven’t seen the travel wallet before, so I wasn’t sure about sizing, and how it would look inside. Let’s just say, it really doesn’t disappoint.
The travel wallet has been designed to be practical and spacious, whilst remaining effortlessly stylish. Featuring two large zip compartments and one smaller zip compartments. Once inside, there is also card holders. The outer of the wallet is grained leather, with a detachable loop handle and finished with the F&F shield.

Shop The Winchester here.

Grays 1922

Founded in 1922, Grays is an Englsih lifestyle brand, selling country gifts and equestrian themed leather products. I have various products from Grays, and their leather products really do get better with age. As an equestrian myself, I automatically gravitate towards equestrian inspired products and accessories. Anything with a snaffle bit on, is usually a yes from me. There is something very special about Grays products.

The Grays 1922 Prize: The Haston Bag in Brown Leather.
Prize number two for our lucky winner is the Haston Bag in brown leather. This saddle bag inspired style features beautiful brown leather, with snaffle detailing. The snaffle bits have been incorporated onto both the strap, and the front of the bag – making this perfect for the equestrian enthusiast, as well as those looking to expand their country wardrobe.
The bag features an adjustable strap, which extends to a length of 60cm, a magnetic catch from opening, and an internal pocket, featuring a zip closure.
Sizing – L – 30cm, W – 8cm, H – 18cm .
You can shop the Haston Bag online in its various colourways here.

Sporting Hares

Sporting Hares are a British Countryside brand, designing practical and stylish products that applaud the country lifestyle. Whether you’re an equestrian, shooting or countryside enthusiast, Sporting Hares will have a product for you. This brand has featured several times throughout out my blog, so you’ll be no stranger to how much I love this brand, and how highly I think of them and their products. I am an equestrian myself, and somewhat of an awful shot, so I have put my SH products to use practically, as well as using them as stylish pieces to make up my country wardrobe – ticking all the boxes for me!

The Sporting Hares prize: Fenston Sunglasses in Distresed.
I have owned a pair of these SH sunglasses myself, so I can speak from experience when I speak about these – they have also featured as part of previous blogs, so you can always find out a little more about them. I am very picky about my sunglasses. I have a small head, and I drive A LOT, so finding something comfortable, practical and something that doesn’t tint the light too weirdly is a must for me.
The Distressed Fenston sunglasses take luxury eyewear up a notch, with their CR-39 polarised lenses and natural grain wooden frames. The arms of the Fenston sunglasses are spring loaded, meaning they ensure comfort for the wearing and a good fit. The lens are a bold blue, making them both eyecatching, and stylish.
You can shop the Fenston Sunglasses in their two colours, here.

Teddy Edward Clothing

I have raved about this brand before in several blogs now, and I still stand by what I’ve said many a times. I LOVE this brand, everything about it from the limited numbers of products – knowing that what you’re wearing is unique, to the values the brand holds. If you’d like to read the brand values, you can find them here. This is definitely something people are much more concious of now, and they want to know more ‘behind the scenes’ from brands, and the values that they base their business on. Teddy Edward outline all of those in the link provided, and I think you’ll be just as impressed as I was.
You have probably seen that I live in my Teddy Edward jeans and skirt, so I can 100% vouch for the quality and design behind this brand.

The Teddy Edward Clothing Prize: Ava Luxury T-Shirt in your choice of Black or White.
For prize number four, we have the Teddy Edward Ava Luxury T-shirt. The Ava T-shirt will effortlessly take you from day to night, so whether you want to pair with a skirt and boots, or a pair of skinnies and heels, this T-shirt is the perfect go to look. Make from a soft British spun cotton blend, the Ava features a scoop neck and curved hem, to flatter and compliment your shape. The winner will be able to pick their preferred colour choice, from the black or white option available.

  • What I wore to Cornbury & Blenheim Horse Trials. Steal my style, plus my top picks from Joules & Holland Cooper new in!
Hello darlings! Happy October – it feels like we are really into Autumn vibes now doesn’t it. After a busy couple of weeks, I’m reflecting on my horse trials outfits. I know it’s a little late, but it’s been a busy few weeks. I’ve been meaning to get this up sooner but we are finally here! September – the month of horse trials! We kicked off the month of September with Burghley Horse Trials. If you want to read my style blogs for Burghley, you can find them here, and here. The weekend after Burghley welcomed Cornbury Horse Trials, and a first for me. Finally, after the Cornbury weekend, we ended the trio of events with Blenheim, hosting the FEI European championships. Cornbury Horse Trials Cornbury Horse Trials is a new one for me, whilst only down the road, I haven’t ever quite made it over to this event before. We attended for one day, on the Saturday. I was so impressed by the event itself. It felt like a really boujee horse trials – think Pol Roger and Mirabeau rose scattered just about everywhere! The event is based at the beautiful location of Cornbury House. The XC course was a really lovely walk around, with really great viewpoints at various locations around the course. Due to the layout, you could often see multiple jumps at once. Steal my style: When it comes to horse trials style, I’m a practical girlie. Fedoras are a perfect option – either keeping the sun off your face, or the rain off your hair. I really wanted to wear one of the new Waring Brooke jumpers, and the stallion design was perfect for this question event. I chose a tweed skirt and gilet to finish the look. We had seen the ground at Cornbury beforehand, so we opted for wellies for the day. Fedora | Barkworth Reeve Jumper | Waring Brooke (now live!) Gilet | Holland Cooper Skirt | Shein (old season) Wellies | Joules Bag | Fairfax & Favor (new season Fog colourway) Blenheim Horse Trials Another local event, Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is always on the calendar. This year being no exception, especially with them hosting the FEI European Championships. With a backdrop of the beautiful Blenheim Palace, Blenheim ticks all the boxes. World class athletes, stunning location, top competition. Steal my style: Blenheim horse trials outfit consisted of some new season Joules, which I have been absolutely LOVING! If you’re a regular here, you’ll know just how much I love this brand, and have since I was a little girl. Their A/W collection has just been getting better and better – so I was really excited to style up some pieces for the event. I went for a really classic horse trials style – I loved it! • Style guide – what to wear to the upcoming Burghley Horse Trials!
Hello my darlings! Welcome back to the blog! It’s a very special time of year, as we enter September, we enter another month jam packed with horse trials, which can only mean one thing- outfit styling advice! First up… Burghley Horse Trials! It’s one of the most prestigious equestrian events of the year. Taking place in Stamford, Lincolnshire, it’s a showcase of world-class eventing, it’s the one the eventers would give anything to win. The most determined and elite athletes endure the challenging dressage, cross country, and showjumping phases, whilst spectators hold their breath and look on to who the next champion will be! Heading to Burghley HT this year? Your outfit should balance country elegance, practicality, and timeless chic – with an eye on the unpredictable British weather. How to style an outfit for Burghley HT 1. The Style Principles of Burghley HT Country Heritage: Burghley style really leans into tradition. Think tweeds, tailored pieces, wax jackets, and country boots. Practical Elegance: You’ll be walking across grass, and gravel, so don’t forget practicality! Function is just as important as fashion, and you don’t want to get caught out! Luxury, but understated: Statement pieces are such fun to style, but horse trials style usually leans more towards ‘understated chic’.Weather ready: Sunshine, showers, mud, it’s all part of the experience, and we could quite literally have all in one day. Prepare for the day – layers are essential. 2. Wardrobe Staples ✔️ Outerwear – Tweed/wax jackets/Blazers are a great layering option for the day, and perfect for those chilly morning, or cooler days. Capes offer a chic alternative to a coat, especially in transitional weather. Gilets gilets gilets! Such a favourite of mine! They really are the perfect layering piece. Opt for a classic fleece or tweed option to keep in country styling. Chunky knit jumpers lean into Autumn, and look great thrown over your shoulders. ✔️ Tops – September is a funny month, it can still feel very summery, or it can have really quickly switched to Autumn mode. Look to wear fine knit jumpers in muted tones. A shirt in a country check or crisp white colour. Use layering to create a practical look, whatever the weather. ✔️ Bottoms – Skinny jeans/slim trousers are a great option for September horse trials style. I try to avoid blue denim, and reach for block colours such as black, navy, chocolate or white. Tweed skirts are timeless leaning into Autumn. They are rich in texture, you’ll see plenty of these around the event, a personal favourite of mine! ✔️ Footwear – Practicality has to be at the forefront when thinking of footwear. Now isn’t the time to be breaking in your new pair of shoes. I’d stick to suede or leather tall boots (knee high- such as the Regina boot from Fairfax & Favor). You can protect these with the likes of ‘Liquiproof’ to ensure they are prepped for any rain! It is also absolutely acceptable to wear wellies, and you might need to. Weather dependant- if it’s a wet one, I’d always reach for my trusty Le Chameau! Other options – ankle boots, loafers, cowboy boots – just be sure to check the weather! 3. Accessories that Elevate Fedoras – Beautiful, elegant, and protecting you from the elements. I absolutely love finishing off my outfit with one of these for that signature country look.Silk Scarves – a really easy way to add a pop of colour to your outfit, but they can also be tied in so many different ways, offering endless looks to your outfit.Belts – not only practical, but they can be used to add elegance to your outfit, cinching in your waist, or adding an extra talking point! Opt for classic leather or suede for a timeless look. Handbags – crossbody bags offer a hands free option, great for XC day. I try and opt for a medium size, so I can carry plenty round, usually thrown over my shoulder! 4. Colour Palette Inspiration Classic Country: Olive, tan, camel, navy and burgundy. Autumnal Chic: Forest green, rust, deep plum, mustard.Neutral Elegance: Creams, and muted pastels, for a lighter look. 5. Day-by-Day Dressing 🐎 Dressage Day (Thursday/Friday)Polished and classic: tweed blazer, crisp white shirt, slim trousers, and boots. Perfect chance to wear lighter tones and subtle accessories. 🌿 Cross-Country Day (Saturday)The most practical day, expect walking and maybe mud! Opt for wax jacket, fleece gilet, tweed skirt and tall boots. Finish with a fedora hat and crossbody bag. 🏆 Show Jumping Day (Sunday)Dressier finish: tailored coat or cape, skirt/trousers, loafers. Accessories like a silk scarf will elevate your look. 6. Weather-Proofing Rain: Wax jacket, waterproof boots, fedora and an umbrella! Don’t forget to have protected your pieces beforehand with a waterproof spray!Cold: Layering up is essential – base shirt or jumper, then use gilets and jackets.Sunshine: Sunglasses, lightweight jackets, shirts to create a perfect September sunshine look. 🐴👢 Outfit inspiration 👢🐴 Outfit options are endless for Burghley, here are some of my favourites! I can’t wait for a September full of Horse Trials style! Hopefully I’ll see you at an event soon! My next blog has a very special brand focus, I know you won’t want to miss it!
