It sounds a little cliché doesn’t it! And I was actually really nervous to get writing this for the very first time, but I wanted to be able to give you all a little glimpse into my world and my adventures with this blog. If you follow my Instagram then I am sure you have already gathered that I am a huge lover of clothing and accessories. Outfit styling is truly something that excites me and I can’t wait to share some tips and tricks with you, as well as some classic country looks. I am also a horsey girl through and through, and my county lifestyle will be shared all throughout the blog! I am wanting my blog to be true, gritty and real!
So who am I?
Well, my name is Lucinda and I live in Gloucestershire, part of the beautiful Cotswolds. Everything I live and breathe revolves around horses in some way! I completed a Degree and Masters in Equine subjects and I am fortunate enough that my job encompasses this passion, working as an Area Sales Manager. Despite working within the industry, the long hours and nights away have meant it has been difficult to have my own horse at the moment. However, those of you following me on Instagram may have seen a cheeky little chestnut pony making an appearance on my page. This is Chalky, my beautiful little share pony. He is quite the character and gives me every equine fix I need when I’m not working.
Horse racing is another huge passion of mine and will absolutely be featured in this blog. I love everything from the incredible athletic horses, the atmosphere, the competitive nature and, of course, the clothing, just to name a few! I am a member of Cheltenham Racecourse, which is extremely local to me, and I do try and attend every meet. When I’m not around horses or working, I can be found attempting to shoot some clays, at country shows or finding another countryside adventure to get up to!
So, what’s next?
I have recently been away to Spain and I am so excited to share the trip, and what I got up to with you all.
