Well, it’s meant to be! It’s safe to say it hasn’t been the warmest, sunniest of summers so far has it! And much like the weather, I’ve had a slightly chaotic time with this blog! Something that was now meant to have been launched weeks ago, but between packing and unpacking boxes with moving, ending up being away with work multiple times, and managing to actually lose all of the content of this blog before going live … it’s safe to say it’s been a stressful one!

BUT, here we are! Finally!

It’s time for me to share with you six of my ‘must have’ items for your wardrobe over the next couple of months. The Hampstead jacket from Joules is a really beautiful, boxy design, perfect for adding as an additional layer over your summer outfits.

It wouldn’t be a British summer essentials blog without long sleeve additions, and this sweatshirt is going to be the perfect piece to add into your wardrobe now, taking you through the summer and then into autumn.

Typically, we always end up taking a bag out with us don’t we?! Despite our phones now being the way we pay all too often, there’s still a need for an emergency hairbrush and lippy.

Country western style has taken off in the UK. With thanks to a rise in Country music popularity, and the UK being included in multiple artists world tours, the country western style is something not to be shied away from. With that, Cowboy boots are becoming a go to more and more.

These cowboy boots from Welligogs are going to become a favourite of yours due to all the careful detailing that’s gone into their designs as well as how comfortable they are!

I first tried these on at Badminton after being on my feet all day, and I was completely blown away by how comfortable they were and how easily they moulded to my feet.
