Counting down to my favourite outfit of 2022! Country Girl Outfit Inspiration and Steal my Style!

Hello my Darlings! Welcome back to the blog, I hope you all had such a lovely Christmas.

We are knocking on the door of 2023, and with an exciting year ahead of us, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of my favourite outfits from 2022. I have been so fortunate to have such an amazing year full of the happiest memories, and with that has come some incredible outfits.

So here I bring you the countdown of my favourite 2022 outfits! I hope this gives you some inspiration for the upcoming year ahead!

Enjoy x

5 – Simplistic Country Style

This year’s Burghley outfit really ticked all the boxes for me. I put together such a simple outfit, but it was both practical and chic. The shirt has the cutest little bee embroidery too it, adding a subtle difference to a plain white shirt. I used an Oxblood colour belt and green bag to add some Autumnal tones to the outfit, and I hope you’ll agree, for an Equestrian event, this was just the most perfect outfit styling.

4 – Navy Dreaming

Most of the outfits I really love come from race days, no surprise there! I love putting together Country outfits but with that racing twist, styling up every day pieces from my wardrobe. Navy is a wardrobe favourite of mine. It’s much softer than black, and its ease and versatility mean I reach for it on a daily basis. I treated myself to the full length trench from Holland Cooper last year, and it has firmly found its place in my style inspo, being worn time and time again. The subtle baby blue in this outfit tied together really well. Using different hues of the same colour is a great way to create a really classy outfit.

3 – THAT Dress

This has to have been the most worn piece in the my wardrobe this year! It’s the dress I reached for time and time again this Summer, I think you’d be hard pushed to find a week during the Summer when I didn’t wear it once. The dress is a pinky/red floral pattern, and it just looked the part! It’s super flattering, but also so pretty and feminine, it just made me feel GOOD! I’ve loved teaming it with my Raspberry wedges from Fairfax & Favor (old season), but I also think it teamed incredibly with the deep contrast of Navy. My favourite look from this dress had to be in LA when teamed with Navy Fairfax & Favor footwear and accessories.

2 – Lady in Red

I love how classy this outfit looks. The rich Tan accessories from Salthouse England uplifted the outfit, whilst the red white and black foundation gave a timeless foundation. The velvet blazer adds a gorgeous pop of bold colour to the outfit – and whilst its velvet, its got this amazing stretch to it, which makes it one of the most comfortable blazers I own. If you can achieve a well put together outfit, which is also extremely comfortable – you’re onto a winner! This sort of outfit can be created with any wardrobe – it consists of capsule wardrobe basics, but the end result came together perfectly.

1 – Cheltenham Festival Perfection

How could this outfit not be my number 1 outfit of 2022 – honestly – I am SO in love with this whole look. From Cheltenham Festival, this red and black outfit created a real showstopper for Ladies Day. Despite it POURING down with rain – my spirit could never have been dampened in this outfit. The matching scarf and skirt created the base of the outfit, and it tied in perfectly with a red and black fascinator I previously worse from High Bird Designs. I finished the look with a stunning velvet jacket from Welligogs (this was sprayed with Liquiproof to protect from the rain).
