Get ready with me for Cheltenham Races – April Meeting & The May Season Finale Meet
Hello my darlings!
I am excited to bring you today’s blog, where I revisit not one, not two, but THREE Cheltenham races outfits! Since we last caught up on racing we’ve had 3 meets at Cheltenham, bringing us to the end of the National Hunt Season.
It’s always sad when Cheltenham comes to an end… but, we do have to remember, things do kick off again in October, bringing lots to look forward to!
I’ll be linking all these pieces I’m wearing, or similar, just click in the brackets!
So, let’s get into the last racing blog of this season!
🌟 APRIL MEETING 🌟
~ Day One ~

The weather for the April meeting can really vary, and day one was …. WINDY! I ended up pulling together a really classic racing look made up of browns and neutrals, tweed and suede! I love how this look came together, with lots of different textures and shades.
Steal my style:
Hat/Hatpin | Somerset Millinery (linked)
Cape | Holland Cooper Clothing (linked)
Scarf | Shein
Jumper | Schoffel (sale item)
Jeans | Shein
Belt | Hyde & Hare (linked)
Boots | Fairfax & Favor (linked)
Bag | Welligogs (linked)
~ Day Two ~

Day two weather ended up being much nicer, and I really wanted to try out the new Fairfax & Favor longline gilet at the races! I actually had a skirt from Shein in the exact same colour match – which created this really lovely little two piece. I used a lilac top to brighten up the look, and tied these colours in with the beautiful Acacia Zuri silk scarf.

🥂 MAY MEETING 🥂

The May meeting, and season finale. This is always a bitter sweet meet, it’s an evening meet, with a trackside DJ after, it’s usually lovely weather and really good fun. However, it does mark the end of the season!
As this was a beautiful summery evening, I went for a little white dress, teamed with some navy and tan accessories – I love how this came out and it’s a look that could easily be recreated for upcoming summer race days!
Steal my style:
Fedora | Josephine’s Country Collections (linked similar)
Waistcoat | Schoffel Country (linked)
Dress | Shein (linked)
Boots | Fairfax & Favor (no longer available)
Bag | Salthouse England (old season)
So there we have it, the racing finale, and time to head into the show season, before racing kicks off again in October.
My next blog will be delving into Badminton Horse Trials, including men and woman’s show styling, I know you’re going to love it, so stay tuned!
See you there!
Lots of love, Lucinda xo
