Chosen by Country Classic Lucinda – The Hyde & Hare Belmont Cowhide Belt 🐄

Oh my goodness, I have been so excited for this blog! If you saw my Instagram (@countryclassiclucinda) when I first received this belt, you’ll know I was just a little bit excited when a parcel arrived from Hyde & Hare for me, featuring one of their brand new products.

I have loved this brand for a really long time, and having used several of their bags previously, I have a huge appreciation for the quality of the products they produce.

Hyde & Hare are a British, luxury, lifestyle brand, producing cowhide accessories from ethically sourced, high quality hides. The brand produce one of a kind bags and belts at affordable prices. It all began when founder, Piers Dickinson, was managing luxury safari lodges in Kenya, here he was inspired by the beautiful local cowhide products, and after speaking with a designer, Hyde & Hare was born.

The Belmont Cowhide Belt

Brand new to the Hyde & Hare range, The Belmont Cowhide Belt is the ultimate accessory. Combining luxury and exceptional quality, this belt is both practical and unique. From the moment I received the presentation box, to wearing the item itself, this belt makes you feel incredible, and for me, it is products like that that we should all be investing in.

The item comes so beautifully packaged in a presentation box and dustbag. This makes for the perfect gift, as well as a treat for yourself. Once open, the beautiful print of the Italian hair on hide can be seen, which lies against nubuck leather. The belt is finished with a silver buckle and loop.

There is a handy size guide available on the website, so that you can get the right fit for you. I generally size a little smaller in most of my belts, so that I am able to wear them with high-waisted clothing or dresses if I want too. The Belmont belt has 5 holes and is available in Small, Medium and Large. The easiest way to ensure you gain the right fit for your belt is to measure one you currently have, that fits well in the different styles you like to wear. The belt is 32mm wide. It is also available in two classic colour ways, Brown and White or Black and White.

I’ve spoken a lot in my previous blogs about the importance of investing in quality pieces. For me, a belt is not just practicality, but it is a key accessory, and can often be a focus point or talking point of an outfit. I like my belts to be stand alone, statement pieces, and this belt is exactly that. For me, I couldn’t speak any more highly of this product. I also think with your belts, if you invest you are getting a hard wearing, timeless piece. If you are also like me, I wear a belt every single day, so you are definitely investing in a piece you will get the wear out of.
