Chosen by Country Classic Lucinda – Birdie London V-Neck Jumper

How lucky are we with this weather? Umm hello Summer again!!
I am just so excited to bring you a brand specific ‘Chosen by Country Classic Lucinda’! You already know this blog series is designed to bring you items that I just love, a review of those product finds that I just couldn’t live without. This is definitely one brand that I can’t wait to share with you, I have a real treat in store!

So… please let me introduce to you… Birdie London.

Birdie London was established in 2017, with its two founders setting their sights on a range of clothing and accessories to suit ‘any sport, any time, any where’. The Birdie London clothing is not only ideal sportswear, but it pairs flawlessly with jeans and skirts, for a perfect every day look. Featuring a Men’s and Woman’s collection, there really is something for everyone.
Birdie London mainly work with 100% Merino wool, which is a natural wool fibre from Merino sheep. Merino wool is both soft and smooth, making it perfect for luxury clothing. Merino wool is also breathable, so it is able to wick away moisture from the body, and help with temperature regulation. This type of wool also has antibacterial properties – which is why it makes such great activewear.

I have been fortunate enough to review one of the Birdie London V Neck Jumpers, which is just beautiful. I always like to ‘try and test’ any clothing before writing a review for you, and this jumper was no exception. I am SO impressed by the quality, style, colour and fit of this jumper, let me talk you through it….

LADIES V JUMPER IN MID GREY & TANGERINE

Wow, this jumper is just so impressive!! It is pretty clear that I am a huge country clothing lover. I write about the pieces I love, because I genuinely want to share them with you – I spend a lot of time trying out different clothing, and my lifestyle means I am really able to put them through their paces, I then love sharing my findings with you, so you know what is out there!
I absolutely love to add colour into my outfit. Despite a lot of plain and basic colours in my wardrobe, I like to start with these pieces and then add in brighter, bolder colours to complete the look. This jumper does all of this for you. I absolutely love the mid grey colour, which is subtle enough to pair with everything, but has the bold, bright finish of the tangerine stripe running down the outer of the sleeves.
I am slightly obsessing over tangerine at the moment – it is such a fun colour to style, and is surprisingly easy to compliment with your outfit. It is the perfect Summer colour too – ideal for this amazing weather!
The Birdie London V Neck Jumpers (the collection this featured jumper is from) come in a variety of bright colours, and subtle colours, so there really is something to suit your wardrobe perfectly!
The jumper is made from 100% Merino wool, it is a mid-weight, so perfect for pairing with skirts or white jeans in the Summer, or using to layer up with your outfit in the winter.
The jumper has a relaxed fit, with a slight drop shoulder. The cuffs and hem of the jumper are ribbed for a flattering finish.

I fell in love with this jumper from the first moment I wore it, knowing it was a perfect staple, and was a completely welcomed addition to my country wardrobe collection. It is so so soft, so comfortable and the slightly dropped shoulder allows for a relaxed feel for day to day wear. I have been so impressed by the quality, and actually just how easy it is to wear.
I have styled this jumper a few different ways now, which you will have seen over on my Instagram account (@countryclassiclucinda), and I am looking forward to continuing to try it out in lots of different ways, so keep an eye on my account for some more inspo ideas.

I paired the jumper here with some simple white jeans and tan accessories. The tan and tangerine complimented each other perfectly, and the white jeans allows the jumper to speak for itself. I also teamed the jumper with navy boots and a grey bag, with coral tassel accessories, to bring out the tangerine in the jumper even further. There are so many looks that could be created with this jumper – I have only just started!
