Steal my style- Outfits in December! Racing, Winter Wonderland and a delicious Sunday Roast!

Hello my darlings! I hope you’re feeling festive, with Christmas just around the corner now. With a busy December, I’ve put together a little blog of some of my December outfits, to give you some inspiration for your own Winter wardrobes!

Happy styling ❤️

Feeling Festive …

Ok, I had to put this first because I am OBSESSED! This outfit worked out so well, I couldn’t be happier with the results. I wore this to go and sample the brand new Sunday Roast menu at a restaurant in Cheltenham, Sef’s Steakhouse. If you’re looking for a Sunday Roast and cocktails spot, this is perfect fyi! I wanted to get in the festive spirit with this meal, and having just received this beautiful red headband from Somerset Millinery, I just knew I had to work the outfit around this. Thing in with the red theme, I paired a tartan skirt, with a black base and tailored longline coat from Schoffel. This outfit was so simple to put together, but the red and black works so perfectly for a Christmas meal, and the light oat coloured jacket helps to lift the outfit, resulting in a polished look. Ps… for those of you who are make up curious …. The lipstick is Ruby Woo by MAC 💋

Navy & Neutral …

A trip to London sparked some beautiful Country style outfits to be worn in the city. This look feels fairly simple, but the mix of herringbone material from the trench and gilet, along with the fur and cords, add so much texture to the outfit detailing. I love maintaining my true self and style, no matter where I travel. This outfit is ‘so me’ as they would say. Mixing Navy and Neutrals to create a simple look, I think this outfit worked out perfectly. This long trench is probably one of my favourite pieces of clothing. It felt like such a big purchase at the time, but the second I put it on, I felt like a princess, and I knew it would be one of those pieces to remain in my wardrobe as a staple forever 💎

Magical Monochrome …

Another day, another London outfit! This is one of my favourite jackets from Welligogs. It is from their Knightsbridge range, and they are so perfectly cut, incredibly flattering, and the detailing is beautiful. I forever receive compliments when I am wearing these pieces. The houndstooth is one of my favourites, it is so easy to dress up or down, and is a real classic in the wardrobe. Nothing over complicated this outfit, it was simply using the natural taupe colours from the fur, and the black from the rest of the outfit and the jacket, for a classic style ♠️

Country girl in the City …

One of the things I really wanted to do against whilst in London was Winter Wonderland. It always feels like an alternate universe stepping side with all the festive lights and music. This day was absolutely FREEZING! Plus inside the ice sculpture area it was -10!! I opted for the classic Joules field coat here. These tweed jackets are instantly recognisable from Joules, but they are also so hard wearing and cosy! I stayed along the green and brown theme throughout, and I loved it! 💡

A moment for Plum …

Onto the racing outfits of December! Plum has been the colour of the season, and it is one I’m obsessed with. Rich, and colourful, plum adds such an elegance to any classic outfit. I’ve used all matching plum accessories to immediately brighten and lift a simple base. This is one of my favourite colours to wear racing at the moment, so you’re sure to see it again soon! 🐎

Race day ready …

This is one of my all time favourite racing outfits! The simple colours, and classic styling, makes this such a sophisticated look. This to me just screams National Hunt Winter racing in every, single way. The mix of tweeds, neutrals and browns, the whole look effortlessly came together to create the epitome of racing style. Once again featuring that Schoffel Portree Jacket, it’s fast becoming a go to in my wardrobe, along with their ultra comfy and cosy Ness Jumper 🤎

That’s all for now my Darlings! There will be one last blog before the New Year, and if you love racing, you won’t want to miss it! 🐎

See you soon.

Lots of love, Lucinda xo
