My Fairfax & Favor Spring/Summer Item Reveal …

So, following on from my previous blog, ‘Let’s talk about Fairfax and Favor SS20’, I wanted to share with you a product that I have gone for from the brand new SS20 collection. I think a lot of you will be joining this blog from either Facebook or Instagram – it’s so lovely to have you over here and I can’t wait to show you what it is.

I haven’t really ever done a reveal like this before, but this is something I really enjoy from some of my favourite bloggers and vloggers. Controversial, but I sometimes can find standard unboxings a bit boring! I’m always so excited to see what someone has gone for though- so I thought it would be fun to do one of these reveals myself, and change things up a little bit for you!

I have to say, first and foremost, this has to be one of the most exciting collection launches. Pretty much everything presented on the ‘coming soon’ page of the Fairfax & Favor website, I thought ’yes that’s so me’ or ‘oooo I’d love that’. It was soo tricky to decide what to go for first, and believe me this is just the start! I have my eye on a fair few purchases that I’d love to make very soon!

For me, blogging is all about writing and researching things I am passionate about, and things I love. So that’s why we are here! I hope you love reading my blogs as much as I love writing them! 💕

Well, I went for the beautiful Monaco Wedge in Raspberry!

These beautiful wedges are the ultimate summer essential – and a staple to completing your spring/summer country wardrobe. Available in three gorgeous colours, the Monaco wedge is stylish, classy and classic! I have had my eye on getting a pair of wedges for this summer, so when these appeared, I 1000% knew they were for me!

The wedges are a suitable 8cm, so not too high for those of you worried, but high enough to feel absolutely fabulous, and they have a rubber sole. The wedges themselves are a suede outer, with a contrasting tassel. There is an embroidery to the toe, and a signature buckle. Mine didn’t come in dust bags- I know this is sometimes something people comment on- so just so that you aren’t surprised- mine didn’t!

I haven’t been able to wear the shoes out yet (of course), but from first try, the sole is SO comfortable, and they look beautifully eye catching. For those of you that were not sure about the embroidery on the toe, this is really subtle, and I actually like the effect it has. It isn’t in your face, and it doesn’t draw the eye – so don’t worry about that.

I went for true to size, and they fit perfectly! They aren’t too narrow at the bottom, despite being more of an almond shaped toe. The ankle strap sits exactly where it should, as has plenty of holes- so is fully adjustable for comfort.

Initial Impressions

So obviously these are not tried and tested, this was a reveal blog, but my first impressions are all very positive. I absolutely love the bold, bright colour, the comfort and fit of the product seems excellent, and I think the overall design screams country summer chic! I will be putting these through their paces, and as always I will give my honest opinion about them, so keep an eye on the blog for future posts!
