🎀 Barbie Movie Magic 🎀

Oh, darlings, have you been to the new Barbie movie? It’s had me giddy with excitement – I have absolutely loved the hype around itt! The vibrant visuals, the playful spirit, and of course, Barbie’s iconic pink wardrobe – it’s a celebration of girl power and self-expression. So, why not channel your inner Barbie and embrace the joy of pink in your own outfits.

🌸 Pretty in Pink 🌸

From soft blush to vibrant fuchsia, pink comes in a variety of shades that cater to every taste and style. Pink is a colour suitable for all, but it is also so versatile and easy to style. Whatever shade you opt for, pink has the power to completely transform your outfit.

💖 The Color Psychology of Pink 💖

You know I love colour psychology, and think it can certainly play a role in our outfits! It is suggested that certain colours can have an impact on our mood, and even our behaviour. Pink is renowned for evoking feelings of warmth, love, and kindness. Pale shades of pink can be described as calming and relaxing, whilst bright, bold shades are often described as exciting and stimulating. Pink has been suggested to increase joyful and happy feelings, but is also known for its innocence and tranquility.

👛 The Power of Pink 👛

Pink isn’t just a color; it’s a statement. You’re not just wearing an outfit – you’re embracing positivity and radiating confidence. Pink empowers you to embrace your femininity, be unapologetically yourself, and conquer the world with a heart full of courage. I have put together 10 pieces that I LOVE & TRUST, from my own experiences, that I know you’ll just want to add into your own wardrobes too!

Holland Cooper embraces the stunning hues of pink with a variety of beautiful tailored pieces, including pink houndstooth and the ever popular anniversary pink tweed. Whether you are after a matching set, or a special piece, this is the place to look for timeless pink classics.

The Kempton coat is a must have in any Country wardrobe. Incredibly easy to style, and a timeless piece that you’ll love for many years to come. This longer length of coat is so flattering, and the shade of pink is subtle enough to pair with multiple outfits. Style effortlessly with a white blouse and black or white jeans, with suede knee high boots.

The recently launched blush collection from Fairfax & Favor encompasses delicate beauty through a range of stunning footwear and accessories. This feminine hue is the perfect addition to any wardrobe, and a great way to introduce some pink into your wardrobe.

3. Katie Loxton
Millie Mini Crossbody, Fuchsia

The newly launched Fuchsia range came along at the perfect time for the Barbie movie release. Fun and fashionable, Fuchsia is such a gorgeous shade to add that bright colour pop into your outfit.

I have written about the cute little Millie Mini before, so you’ll know I’m a fan. Big enough for all the essentials, but small enough to not feel big and bulky, this bag is quite literally the perfect piece. I think the fuchsia is really unique and actually such a versatile colour, despite maybe not looking it initially. I’ve had so much fun styling one of these already, with my favourite way to wear paired with a cute little white dress!

With these genius designs, the hairbands are so lightweight and flexible, you can barely feel you’re wearing one! The plait design is so pretty, and matches everything, weather you’re looking for a piece to finish off your wedding guest or racing outfit, or just want to style with your favourite pub lunch outfit!

Oh hello. These pink croc loafers are 100% on my wishlist. I love how unique and individual the Nicola Sexton footwear is. These pieces are instantly recognisable, and these loafers feature one of my favourite details of the NS pieces, the signature diamanté rim! To any of my readers who purchase these, I am already jealous! I’d team with a navy or pink knit, and some white jeans!

6. Welligogs
Cassandra Peony Blossom Shirt

Welligogs is such an incredible brand, and when it comes to pink pieces, they have some real classics in. They are a go to for my racing outfits, and any quintessentially English styles. I am such a huge cheerleader for the brand, as I have known and trusted their products for such a long time!

You simply cannot go wrong with a classic shirt, whether it’s paired with a beautiful tweed skirt, or more casually with jeans. The Cassandra is a stunning design featuring a ruffle front detailing. The Welligogs shirt in this style feature a structured front panel, but then an elasticated back and side. This means that the shirt feels more like a jersey top on – making these ultra comfortable! I have the same style in a couple of other designs, and I have to say, once you try them, you won’t want to go back to a normal shirt!

You can use code ‘LUCINDA10’ for discount off full priced Welligogs items on their website.

7. HiHo Silver
Exclusive Sterling Silver & 18ct Rose Gold Plate Cherry Roller Snaffle Bangle With Pink CZ Starlight

HiHo Silver have such a stunning range of jewellery, self described as “designed to take you ‘from mucking out, to going out’”, which I think perfectly sums up their collections. Fabulously hardwearing, these investment pieces are timeless classics which will last you for years to come, and with a range of pink jewellery on offer – you’ll be adding to basket in no time.

I have a couple of the Cherry Roller bangles from HiHo silver, which is why I absolutely had to include this in my all things pink blog. I never take mine off, they endure everything from horses to work to days out and about – and I wouldn’t be without them. Such a classic nod to equestrian style – something I feel the need to include in my outfits! But whether you’re horsey or not, this stunning jewellery will suit anyone, and is such a timeless, incredible quality piece, that you’ll cherish forever.

8. Joules
Clover Button Down Dress, Pink Ditsy

Joules has always been my idea of Country Fashion. From the little horsey girl I was, who was obsessed with any Joules pieces my mum purchased for me to wear, to the woman I am now dressing for work, and play, this brand will always have a super special place in my heart. Perfectly combining Town and Country style, Joules has English heritage at the heart of its designs, and season after seasons, comes out with the most stunning collections.

The pretty Clover dress was a new realease for S/S 23, and I have to say, I jumped straight onto getting one of these. It is the prettiest little pink print, and I just couldn’t resist. I wasn’t sure about longer styles of dresses, however, the Clover had me obsessed, and I since expanded my longer dress collection in total confidence. This dress is gorgeous and floaty, it is such a feminine and flattering style, and could easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion!

9. Hicks & Brown
The Suffolk Fedora, Dusky Pink (Pheasant feather Wrap)

Hicks & Brown was started by unstoppable sisters, Alice and Rosie. This duo have perfectly managed to capture the hat market, with their designs being worn by none other than the Princess of Wales. My Hicks & Brown fedora was my first fedora, purchased at their first Burghley Horse Trials, so many years ago. They have a range of fedoras, flat caps and summer hats, with a variety of different pink pieces throughout the collection.

The Suffolk fedora is a must have for your Country wardrobe – every country girl needs a fedora to finish off their outfits, whether that be for practicality, or just that final finishing touch! The dusty pink shade is such a pretty hue, adding a refreshing pop of colour to any outfit. Whether this is teamed with a classic herringbone or tweed skirt, or casually with jeans – you’ll be surprised just how much this goes with!

10. Morris Richardson
Belvoir 36mm Ladies Watch, Pink

Morris Richardson watches are such an incredible investment piece, and come in both mens and woman’s. Emcompassing quintessential British style, these watches are the most perfect addition to any Country outfit.

The Belvoir is such a hardwearing watch, I wear mine to the yard and it is a few years old now and still loving life! This design comes with the most beautiful pink tweed strap, with the choice of Silver, Gold or Rose Gold watch colour. This is definitely an investment piece. Plus, if ever you’re not feeling pink (I know right, how?!), then you can switch the colours up by swapping the interchangeable straps.

So, let the magic of the Barbie movie inspire your inner fashion, pink isn’t just a color – it’s a symbol of your unapologetic, fabulous self.

See you soon for my Burghley style blog, can’t wait to share it with you my Darlings!

Lots of love, Lucinda xo
