Four easy to recreate outfits, to wear to the Cheltenham Festival – outfit inspiration for one of the biggest race meets of the year!
With less than three weeks to go to the Cheltenham Festival, I wanted to share with you four outfits to give you some inspiration for your own looks.
Whilst dressing for the racing may seem daunting, it doesn’t have to be. You can create effortless outfits from your wardobes at home, and with a relaxed dress code for Cheltenham Festival, you can really wear what you feel most comfortable in.
I have put together four outfits which seemlessly fit into race day stying, and would be simple to recreate.
Let’s get into it…
🐎 Outfit One 🐎
Outfit one is really classic, opting for Black and Tan tones throughout. A really simple base of a camel roll neck and black jeans creates a clean foundation for the rest of the outfit to build from.
A gorgeous velvet jacket adds texture to the look, whilst the matching tweed headpiece and scarf play into the tradition of race day styling. The outfit is finished with high heeled suede boots.

Steal my style:
Headpiece/Scarf | Josephines Country Collection
Jacket | Welligogs (use ‘LUCINDA10’ for discount)
Jumper | Primark
Jeans | Lovall
Boots/Belt | Fairfax & Favor
Jewellery | Hiho Silver & The Silver Stable
🐎 Outfit Two 🐎
Navy is a great colourway if you find black to be a little harsh. It’s got that bolder, brighter look, whilst remaining a really elegant core colour. This outfit plays into the navy and tan colour combination.
Using a really simple roll neck and herringbone tweed skirt, an easy base to recreate, I’ve then added a statement velvet jacket and headpiece to really elevate this look. The pop of tan stands out nicely with the bag, and the look is finished with equestrian jewellery and suede boots.

Skirt | Shein
Boots | Fairfax & Favor

🐎 Outfit Three 🐎
St Patrick’s Day? This is a look! Why not play into the green tones for race day style? This is another simple look of a chunky roll neck and skirt, with matching jacket, headpiece and boots.
You can see all the different textures added to this outfit to create depth. The silk scarf, feathers in the headpiece, tweed in the bag. This all helps to add something a little more interesting to your outfit!

Jacket | Zara
Jumper | Schoffel
Jeans | Lovall
Scarf | Acacia Zuri
Bag | Grays 1922

🐎 Outfit Four 🐎
Starting with a chunky roll neck and tweed skirt, this outfit encompasses all of the neutrals! From earthy browns to pretty creams, there’s a splash of everything!
The darker tweed coat is a really nice tone for the outfit. Whilst the scarf helps to lighten and brighten, drawing in the colour from the tan accessories also within the look!
