Introducing …. Fig & Twig!

Hi Frankie, I am so excited to have you joining me on the CCL blog! Please could you introduce yourself to the readers, and tell us what inspired Fig & Twig?

Hello! I am Frankie and I am the founder of Fig & Twig. I am 24 years old and live in the North West of England. I have always been a huge lover of the English countryside and classic country style and wanted to channel this passion into my small business.

Amazing, and when was it that you started the brand?

I launched Fig & Twig in January 2024 with our first product, the Willow Belt.

What is it that makes Fig & Twig unique?

I think the versatility of our Willow Belts is what makes us unique, as they are adjustable they can be worn with any outfit – complementing trousers, dresses, skirts and even jackets. Just like the tree, our Willow belts are extremely flexible and I love how they can be either dressed up or worn casually, with comfortable elastic and fastened with a gorgeous snaffle buckle.

Well we completely agree here at CCL, we just love how versatile the Willow belts are! Speaking of the belts, which is your favourite colour from the Willow collection?

Tough question! I’d have to say the plum and gold personally, it’s a real stand-out piece and works perfectly with my summer dresses. I can’t wait for more sunny days so I can explore more summer looks!

Plum has been such a popular colour way over the past year, and it works so well whatever the season! We have loved seeing the launch of these Willow belts, and their success. Where do you now see Fig & Twig in the next 12 months?

I am so grateful for all my customer’s support since launching in January, it has been so lovely to read everyone’s kind messages and comments! I hope to continue connecting with others who share my passion for country style. Looking forward to the future, I have some new product ideas in the works which I cannot wait to share!

How exciting!! And what would be your proudest moment so far?

My proudest moment so far has been seeing our belts worn by customers at Cheltenham Festival. It is such a great event with beautiful fashion that it was a real pinch me moment to see our belts being styled with such fabulous outfits!

Yes definitely! I teamed one of the Willow belts with my Cheltenham Festival outfits, and it was the perfect addition! What is your inspiration when it comes to Fig & Twig?

Definitely the English countryside, it’s where I love to spend my time and I just adore country style!

What do you love most about your job?

I love connecting with others passionate about the countryside and who share my love for country fashion. It fills me with so much joy when a customer shares how they’ve styled their belt with me, or when I see a lovely message or comment on the Fig & Twig Instagram page. It’s such an incredible experience and I am so grateful for the support I have received!

We love a secret here at CCL, is there an exclusive that you can drop to our readers?

We have several new product lines that are in the works, be sure to keep an eye out on the Fig & Twig page for more updates in the near future!

We know it is a dream of so many to start their own business. Can you give any advice to someone looking to start their own business or brand?

We have loved getting to know the brand, but here at CCL you know how important it is for us to get some quick fire questions to get to know those behind the brand! We couldn’t have let Frankie get away without sharing a little more about herself!
