3 easy to recreate styles featuring NEW IN Joules, Welligogs and Cotswold Fox

Ok ok ok… I have to admit it, I LOVE a good ‘New In’ shop. I am so guilty of checking the new in pages of my favourite brands every few days – I can’t resist! The trouble now is that fast fashion is such an issue, whilst we want to keep up with new in pieces and the latest trends, we want to ensure these pieces are timeless, and will last season to season, or at least be able to be worn again year on year! We want to build our wardrobe from pieces which will last, and which will not go out of fashion.

New in shopping can be so much fun – but it can also be tricky to know how to style those fresh pieces, which you might not quite be able to search inspiration for yet!

I’ve put together 3 outfits below with some gorgeous new in pieces, which are not only ‘hot off the press’ 🔥, but are pieces which you can guarantee to be in your wardrobe this time next year!

The classic trench! Such a versatile investment piece – should everyone own one? Probably! Whether it’s to take you town to country, day to night, the trusty trench offers timeless elegance, something which will never age in your wardrobe.

A trench coat is lightweight, whilst still offering an extra layer, making it perfect to take season to season. Whether it is your light layer over a favourite summer dress, or a staple for your Winter work wardrobe – there is no occasion that a trench cannot cater to.

The new Welligogs Richmond Wax Trench Coat incorporates all of the timeless features of the classic trench, whilst oozing all of the country elegance Welligogs is so well known for. Being both waterproof and wind repellant, the jacket is not only effortlessly stylish, but an ultra practical option to reach for time and time again.

I’ve teamed the trench here with the simplest of outfits. My go to in Winter is a roll neck jumper and black or white jeans, paired with boots. Pretty much everything suits this style, and it is so easy to put together. The rust of the roll neck adds more of a colour pop to the somewhat subtle outfit, whilst still tying together those neutral and earthy tones.

Wearing size small in the trench.

I would be lying if I said I knew how to style everything, and to be honest, a denim jacket is a little out of my comfort zone. I rarely wear blue denim, I actually find it harder to style – however, a denim jacket has been in my sights for a little while now, and it is something that I have wanted to have a play around with.

I wanted to style a causal, dressed down look with the denim jacket. I have a tendency to ‘overdress’ (if there’s such a thing) – so finding something put together, but a little less casual is an area I am working on!!

I am a huge fan of Nashville, and the whole Country/Western styling is an area that I am OBSESSED with. I would move to Nashville tomorrow given the chance, and well, being a horsey girl, I’d become a cowgirl given half the chance too. A denim jacket reminds me of the style and places I love so much, and I think this outfit I put together nods towards that relaxed Country styling.

I teamed the denim jacket with the new in Elvina shirt from Joules, which oozes attention to detail with its intricate country print. Teamed with white jeans, and a modern take on the classic cowboy boot, this style is a little different for me, but easy to recreate – and a casual go to!

Wearing size 8 in the denim jacket.

In Collaboration with Cotswold Fox

This outfit is a casual, every day outfit – perfect for this weird weather. Is it hot, is it raining, is it just about to snow – who knows!! I don’t remember Februarys being like this – its been SO mild, and SO cold, all at the same time. I am forever wondering the best outfit to get me through the day. Luckily, quarter zips are such an easy option. With a fleece lining, they will keep you cosy when there’s that bitter winter chill, but they are still roomy, comfortable and practical when the weather decides to be a little milder.

The Cirencester Quarter Zip in Blush Pink is perfect to take you from dog walks in the day, to drinks at night, without ever feeling over dressed or under dressed! The paneling blocks of colour make for easy styling, with the separation of white in the top, you can easily wear white jeans, without white on white merge. However, the navy bottom makes this perfect to pair with your blue denim jeans. The subtle pink will easily take this Quarter zip from Winter to Spring – the perfect investment piece at this time of year! I’ve teamed with navy suede boots to tie in the colours, and dress up the outfit a little for a trip out!

Wearing XS in the Quarter Zip.
