🎁🎉 The Big Birthday Giveaway 🎉🎁

Evening Darlings! If you didn’t see, on Tuesday it was Country Classic Lucinda’s first birthday- and we made a pretty big deal out of it! Can you believe we have made it through the first year? Blogging is a huge passion of mine, and I have been so lucky that all of the hard work I put into the blog and it’s content, really pays off.

As a huge thank you to my audience, I wanted to launch a giveaway, so that one of the CCL followers could win a mega bundle of Summer prizes. This blog is so lucky to have such a supportive and engaging audience, and I have loved getting to know you over the past year, as well as sharing my blog with you. The Big Birthday Giveaway has now launched over on Instagram, so I wanted to share with you some more information about the giveaway, and the amazing prizes on offer!

The giveaway is running over on the Country Classic Lucinda’s Instagram page, you can find the post you need to enter, here. There are 5 amazing prizes on offer, which make up a bundle of over £430, which one lucky CCL follower will win. The bundle is pulled together from some of my very favourite brands, and I know you’ll love the prizes just as much as I do. I love love LOVE to hype about brands and products that genuinely make me happy, you’ll know that I selectively work and blog about those items that really make me excited about country fashion, and why I fell in love with ‘fashion’ and what I do, in the first place.
So let’s have a look at what is included in The Big Birthday Giveaway:

Fairfax & Favor

It doesn’t take any explaining that I am obsessed with this brand. I have adored them for years- and I have quite the collection, which sees endless use. I purchased my first pair of boots whilst at University, and it seemed a huge investment at the time, but that very pair of boots is still going strong. If you haven’t read the story of how Fairfax & Favor started, I urge you to do so. You can find the story of Fairfax & Favor here.

The Fairfax & Favor Prize: The Winchester Navy Leather Travel Wallet.
This prize is spectacular, wow! I haven’t seen the travel wallet before, so I wasn’t sure about sizing, and how it would look inside. Let’s just say, it really doesn’t disappoint.
The travel wallet has been designed to be practical and spacious, whilst remaining effortlessly stylish. Featuring two large zip compartments and one smaller zip compartments. Once inside, there is also card holders. The outer of the wallet is grained leather, with a detachable loop handle and finished with the F&F shield.
This wallet is available on the Fairfax and Favor website, in a further two colours – Tan and Chocolate.
Shop The Winchester here.

Grays 1922

Founded in 1922, Grays is an Englsih lifestyle brand, selling country gifts and equestrian themed leather products. I have various products from Grays, and their leather products really do get better with age. As an equestrian myself, I automatically gravitate towards equestrian inspired products and accessories. Anything with a snaffle bit on, is usually a yes from me. There is something very special about Grays products.

The Grays 1922 Prize: The Haston Bag in Brown Leather.
Prize number two for our lucky winner is the Haston Bag in brown leather. This saddle bag inspired style features beautiful brown leather, with snaffle detailing. The snaffle bits have been incorporated onto both the strap, and the front of the bag – making this perfect for the equestrian enthusiast, as well as those looking to expand their country wardrobe.
The bag features an adjustable strap, which extends to a length of 60cm, a magnetic catch from opening, and an internal pocket, featuring a zip closure.
Sizing – L – 30cm, W – 8cm, H – 18cm .
You can shop the Haston Bag online in its various colourways here.

Sporting Hares

Sporting Hares are a British Countryside brand, designing practical and stylish products that applaud the country lifestyle. Whether you’re an equestrian, shooting or countryside enthusiast, Sporting Hares will have a product for you. This brand has featured several times throughout out my blog, so you’ll be no stranger to how much I love this brand, and how highly I think of them and their products. I am an equestrian myself, and somewhat of an awful shot, so I have put my SH products to use practically, as well as using them as stylish pieces to make up my country wardrobe – ticking all the boxes for me!

The Sporting Hares prize: Fenston Sunglasses in Distresed.
I have owned a pair of these SH sunglasses myself, so I can speak from experience when I speak about these – they have also featured as part of previous blogs, so you can always find out a little more about them. I am very picky about my sunglasses. I have a small head, and I drive A LOT, so finding something comfortable, practical and something that doesn’t tint the light too weirdly is a must for me.
The Distressed Fenston sunglasses take luxury eyewear up a notch, with their CR-39 polarised lenses and natural grain wooden frames. The arms of the Fenston sunglasses are spring loaded, meaning they ensure comfort for the wearing and a good fit. The lens are a bold blue, making them both eyecatching, and stylish.
You can shop the Fenston Sunglasses in their two colours, here.

Teddy Edward Clothing

I have raved about this brand before in several blogs now, and I still stand by what I’ve said many a times. I LOVE this brand, everything about it from the limited numbers of products – knowing that what you’re wearing is unique, to the values the brand holds. If you’d like to read the brand values, you can find them here. This is definitely something people are much more concious of now, and they want to know more ‘behind the scenes’ from brands, and the values that they base their business on. Teddy Edward outline all of those in the link provided, and I think you’ll be just as impressed as I was.
You have probably seen that I live in my Teddy Edward jeans and skirt, so I can 100% vouch for the quality and design behind this brand.

The Teddy Edward Clothing Prize: Ava Luxury T-Shirt in your choice of Black or White.
For prize number four, we have the Teddy Edward Ava Luxury T-shirt. The Ava T-shirt will effortlessly take you from day to night, so whether you want to pair with a skirt and boots, or a pair of skinnies and heels, this T-shirt is the perfect go to look. Make from a soft British spun cotton blend, the Ava features a scoop neck and curved hem, to flatter and compliment your shape. The winner will be able to pick their preferred colour choice, from the black or white option available.
Shop the Teddy Edward Ava Luxury T-shirt here.

Daltons

Want to meet a superwoman? Welcome to Daltons! Founded by Emma in 2014, Dalton’s pride themselves on quality investment leather accessories, and let me tell you – you wouldn’t be disappointed. Emma handcrafts many of these products herself, with elegance and innovation at the heart of the creations.
I am just a little bit obsessed with belts, they complete an outfit, and can be as much or as little of a talking point as you like – I always recommend investing in good quality belts, that will carry you through all the seasons, and last you for many happy years. I don’t think I am ever without a belt, so for me they are an absolute essential.

The Daltons Prize: The Signature Snaffle Clasp Belt in your choice of leather colour – Navy, Tan or Brown.
The final prize in our incredible giveaway is one of Dalton’s Signature Snaffle Clasp Belts. I have one of these belts in the suede option, so I can safely say I know the quality of the product, and I couldn’t be more impressed!
These belts are just the most perfect addition to a country wardrobe – in fact, I would go as far as to saying that I don’t think a country wardrobe is quite complete without a snaffle belt. These are ideal for pairing with a dress, skirt or jeans, so the opportunities and ways to wear really are endless.
If you win this amazing giveaway, you will be able to choose your choice of leather, from the 3 different options – Brown, Tan or Navy.
Sizing guide: XX Small, 28”, Dress size 4  |  X Small, 31”, Dress size 6-8  |  Small, 33”’, Dress size 8- 10 | Medium, 35”, Dress size 10-12  |  Medium/Large, 37”, Dress size 14  |  Large, 39”, Dress size 16 .

See you soon!

Lots of love, Lucinda xo

  • Rating ALL of the outfits I wore to Cheltenham races in 2025! SPOILER ALERT – I attended EVERY SINGLE day of each meet held at the racecourse!
Hello my Darlings, and welcome back to another blog! This blog is always such a popular one. I have a membership for Cheltenham Racecourse, so for many years I have attended every race meet. 2025 was no exception. There are a total of 8 race meets, and 16 days of racing held at the racecourse, that’s 16 outfits to review! I rarely plan any of my outfits in full for the races. National Hunt racing weather is so changeable, that often I just pick one piece I want to wear in advance, and then build the rest of the outfit the morning of. That way I can try and keep in tune with the weather for the day! With that in mind, even as a country fashion blogger, I get it wrong. Today we look into the good, and the really not so good, outfit choices from every meet in 2025. I’ve been quite harsh in this! Hope you enjoy! Let’s get into it! New Years Day The first race meet of the new year, and it’s always a popular one. The turnout for this day is usually high, attracting racing fanatics and first timers alike! It’s a one day meet, and it is usually a cold one! Starting off the year, it had to be a Welligogs jacket, the holy grail of my race day looks! I went for a neutral mix of creams and browns, and then added the rust orange fedora for a pop of colour. I like how this look turned out, it was warm for a really cold days racing, and definitely ticked the boxes of my classic racing looks. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️ Festival Trials Day The second race meet held, and again in January. Another one day meeting, and it is a chance to see the real potential ahead of the Cheltenham Festival. I love a navy outfit. With my skin tone, it’s so much softer than black, but still has a classic, effortless look. This is an older Joules jacket, but still one I love reaching for, it’s got some really lovely detailing. The hat wasn’t designed to go with it, but it matches perfectly, and I love pairing the two together. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cheltenham Festival This is the big one! Cheltenham Festival is held in March, and consists of four days of top, world class racing. This attracts huge crowds for the sellout event. The meet starts on a Tuesday with Champions Day, we then had Ladies Day on Wednesday, St Patricks Day on Thursday, and then the spectacular Gold Cup Day is on the Friday. It is one of the biggest events on the racing calendar. Day one, and looking back I’m just really not a fan of this outfit. I knew I wanted to wear the boots and the fascinator, but I am just not a massive fan of the final look. Each individual element of the outfit I liked, but combined there was just something not quite right. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️ For this festival, I wanted to keep trying to break the mould and not wear a lot of the pieces or brands I was constantly seeing around the racecourse. I definitely achieved that! This look definitely went for something different and I love the pop of orange and the cream. Whilst I had a vision with the look, this outfit wasn’t very ‘me’ in the end, and it isn’t one of my most loved looks from the year. I still like the idea behind it, and each of the pieces are real staples in my wardrobe, just maybe not together at the races. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️ Now we’re taking!!! There she is! Rich chocolate browns, a huge fascinator, Fairfax & Favor boots – your girl is back. Oh my goodness I just loved this look! The Moss Green colourway from Fairfax & Favor was one of my favourite releases, paired with this Welligogs jacket which stole my heart since I got it. Loved this look! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is another outfit that I loved. Plum is another flawless colourway from Fairfax & Favor. As a pink girlie, plum is just a bit more mature for your looks, whilst still bringing the same vibe. The coat is everything, warm, classic and a head turner. This is a proper festival look! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The April Meeting The April meeting is two days of racing, and usually a chance to ditch the big thick layers, and lean into Spring racing outfits. Day one of the April meet was SO windy. My fedora was blowing off, scarf whipping in my face, cape blowing everywhere. I like the look overall, but it was such a windy day, it was a constant battle. I’ve had this Holland Cooper cape for many many years and it’s a real workhorse in my wardrobe that I really treasure. I love the colour palette too. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️ Day two and we had some nicer weather! I was desperate to wear this longline gilet as it was a new release from Fairfax & Favor at the time. I love it, it’s something really different, but classic and timeless. It really suited the racecourse vibes. I think this outfit came together well! I love how there’s a classic colour palette, mixed with the softer pink hues. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️ May Race Night It’s the party night of the race season, and this is the event which brings the National Hunt race season to a close at Cheltenham. This meet starts later into the afternoon, and runs into the evening, usually with live music and a DJ post racing! This is usually the warmest race meet at Cheltenham. So an opportunity to wear something a little different! I’d been loving this little white dress and it was just an easy base to start from. I used tan and navy to accessorise, no real complaints with this look, it worked well! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Showcase The Showcase is when the National Hunt Season kicks off again in Cheltenham, held in October. This is the meet when we finally get back to the course after four long months off! Day one of the October meeting and kick starting the new season of jump racing. I knew I wanted to wear this new Welligogs jacket, and because it has some subtle navy detailing, I opted for a navy look, with the jacket as the standout piece. I like this look, really classic, came together well and looks timeless. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The second day of the October meet, and I’m back with another one of my classic race day looks. Fairfax & Favor had launched the Fog colourway so I wanted to style those boots and bag. I think it worked really well with the colouring of the Welligogs jacket. I like this look and how it came together! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The November Meeting The November meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse is another big one. This is a three day event and it brings out quite the crowd. The first day of the November meeting was CRAZY! We had such a bad storm, it was awful wind and rain- it really wasn’t pleasant. Whilst I am usually a girlie who promotes wearing something sensible, I went completely against that and continued to wear a velvet jacket, fascinator, skirt and suede boots. You know what, it doesn’t matter! This was one of my favourite outfits, I LOVED it! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Second day, and I opted for this gorgeous Highlands tweed jacket from Joules. This was another look that I just really really liked! This is such a stunning jacket, and it worked really well with the green accessories and the navy. I initially gave this look a four, then had to come back and switch it out to a five, I would 100% wear this again! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Final day, and tbh, I was feeling very worse for wear at this point. My original outfit hadn’t arrived, so all I really knew was that I wanted to wear the fascinator, the rest of the outfit was thrown together in the morning. It was rushed and had very little thought behind it. I do like this outfit, I think it’s more I knew how I was feeling underneath! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Christmas Meeting The final meet of the year, known as the Christmas meet. This December meeting is held over two days, and whilst it is often a chilly one, it has a really lovely atmosphere. On day one of the meeting, I put together a full Holland Cooper look, and I really love how this turned out. Chocolate is such a poplar colour for the winter season, and it’s got the same kind of style presence as black, without being quite as harsh. The Holland Cooper cape was the centre piece of this outfit, elegant and chic but really practical for layering underneath! ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Day two of the Christmas meeting, and the outfit felt like a festive one. I just love how this look came together. I had bought the hat from a stand at the races the day before, it’s vintage and was the perfect seasonal addition. Whilst I’ve worn the Welligogs jacket before, I opted for wearing it done up, changing the look. I used the rule of three with the hat, bag and boots to add a fresh pop of tan into the outfit. I adore how this look came together. ✨Race Day Outfit Rating✨🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Racing outfits 2025 – Wrapped! 🐎 Wore a total of 16 outfits across 8 different meets🐎 Fairfax & Favor footwear featured a total of 11 times, with the Regina boot being the most worn style! 🐎 Welligogs jackets featured a total of 6 times, making this brand the most popular featured outerwear🐎 A hat featured 9 times and a fascinator 7 times🐎 Jeans featured in 8 of the 16 outfits (50%!), followed by 7 skirts, and 1 dress. 🐎 4 of the 16 outfits received a 5🌟 rating So there we have it! 16 outfits from my full year of racing in 2025. Which was your favourite? See you next time! Lots of love, Lucinda xo “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” – Unknown Discount Codes: Check out my latest posts:
  • Steal my Style – Final Equestrian Events of 2025! Two Days at the December Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse, and London International Horse Show
Hello my Darlings, and welcome to the first blog of 2026 – and yes, it’s late!! In this blog we round up my last two equestrian events of the year (2025!), the Cheltenham races December meeting, and London International Horse Show. Whilst it is a little bit late, I still wanted to share, as I know these outfits might help you with some inspiration for your own upcoming events or race days! Cheltenham Races December Meet The final meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse in 2025 was the Christmas meet. This is a two day event, usually mid December. As usual, I attended both days of the meet, with two different outfits to share with you. First up, I have this beautiful Holland Cooper outfit to share with you. I teamed up with Holland Cooper to create the perfect race day look, and what better than in the seasons hottest colourway! This outfit look comprised of a chic cape, roll neck jumper, jeans and over the knee boots. I then added matching accessories, a classy fedora and handbag. This look is effortless. Capes are super easy to layer underneath, perfect for this freezing cold weather we are experiencing. Steal my style: Full outfit: Holland Cooper (shop here!)Bag: Barkworth ReeveHat: Somerset Millinery For day two, I opted for something a little more festive. This beautiful statement velvet jacket is from Welligogs. If you are new to the brand, their jackets are so well tailored, they fit beautifully and will last year after year in their timeless designs. I simply wore this jacket done up, as the statement piece (with lots of layers underneath!), then opted for some tan accessories. Not only did this outfit look festive, it was warm and practical as well. See how I used tan accessories to break up the look. I like using the rule of 3 when adding a colour to the look, and wearing a hat, shoulder bag and boots in the same shade helps to balance the look throughout each third of your body. This is something so simple, but you can use with any outfit! Steal my style: Hat: Vintage (from stand at the races)Jacket: Welligogs (Use ‘LUCINDA10’ for discount)Jeans: Lovall Boots: Holland Cooper (shop here)Bag: Old Salthouse England (Use ‘LUCINDA10’ for discount online, on their clothing + footwear) London International Horse Show The final show of the year, and arguably the start of Christmas – hello London International Horse Show! I absolutely love this event. We won tickets from the incredible new brand, Jenerick. You need to check out their beautiful clothing and exquisite trench coats – they are really showstopping! Now for the outfit. Ladies, the cape is back. I just had to wear it again. It’s so chic, I absolutely adore the movement in it, it feels so luxury! This time I paired it with a simple chocolate ruffle detail jersey top, and a tweed skirt. It was a simple outfit, comfortable for a day travelling to and from London, and a mix of walking around the shopping and being sat in the arena all day. Steal my style: Cape: Holland Cooper (shop here)Top: Holland Cooper (shop here) Skirt: Joules (shop here)Boots: Fairfax & Favor That’s all for now my Darlings! The next blog is revisiting all of my Cheltenham races outfits from the year of 2025, and rating them! Spoiler alert – I went to every single day, of every race meet held at the racecourse!
